Tanya Tagaq, Inuk throat singer from Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, brings her solo show to Club Soda. 2014 Polaris Prize and Juno winner, Member of the Order of Canada, she has collaborated with Björk, the Kronos Quartet and Buffy Sainte-Marie. Her solo katajjaq, woven with electronic, punk and classical, is a singular physical performance, far removed from the traditional two-woman form.
